A Review of Technologies and their Application in Driver Drowsiness Detection Systems

Accidents are often caused by drunken people or people, who are sleep deprived or tired, This necessitates the need to continuously monitor the driver’s condition. When driving, especially at night and late at night, people must maintain a steady state of alertness. Several approaches have been created to detect drive drowsiness. Some of such methods and strategies are described in this article. The most common problems faced is the driver will not be warned on time or that the technology employed was not accurate. This study has compared and contrasted various strategies and implementations already exist on drowsiness detection.
