Abstract
Thermoelectric power generation (TPG) technology is a new type of power generation method based on the movement of charge carriers within a conductor from the hot end to the cold end under temperature gradients and their accumulation at the cold end, thereby forming a potential difference inside the material. By utilizing the LTC3108-1 DC boost circuit, the thermoelectric generator (TEG) can be converted from low-grade thermal energy to low electrical energy, which can be used for low-power and low-power small devices such as sensors. Through LTspice simulation, the analysis results show that the Vout terminal can stably output voltage based on the set pins. After connecting to the physical test, the experimental data obtained is consistent with the simulation results, which can be used for the normal operation of sensor modules and others. Under the condition of surplus electricity, an external energy storage device can also be connected to ensure the emergency working time of the system in the event of loss of input voltage source.
