Optimization of the UAV network routing protocol based on the ant swarm algorithm

With the rapid development of UAV technology, the wireless AD hoc network composed of UAV will become an important dependence for the future network information warfare. Based on the original classic AODV routing protocol, this paper proposes a routing protocol solution called FX-AODV for MANET. The performance of the scheme was compared with the original routing protocol AODV. According to the simulation results, FX-AODV routing protocol is better than the original AODV routing protocol in terms of packet delivery rate, average end-to-end delay and the percentage of node survival ratio.
