摘要
A two-stage method for interference detection and its impact on the synchronization in communication-assisted chirp sequence (CaCS) multi-user scenarios is presented. The first stage estimates the chirp rates of the signals transmitted from different CaCS-nodes in the examined scenario. The latter relies on two successive steps to analyze the influence of the interference on the examined CaCS-nodes. First, an adjusted version of the proposed Schmidl&Cox-based algorithm for frame synchronization is adopted to investigate the impact of the interference on time synchronization. Second, a correlation-based approach with reference signals is employed based on a codebook of the assigned signals to minimize the influence of the interference on frequency synchronization at the receiver of the investigated CaCS-node. Finally, measurements with system-on-chirp platform validate the proposed method, where the resulting correlation metric and mean square error are illustrated as validation factors.
