Orbit Determination for Cislunar Orbiters Using VLBI and SLR

China's Tracking, Telemetry and Command (TT&C) system needs better observational geometry of domestic very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) ground stations since Chang'e-5 mission. This paper introduces satellite laser ranging (SLR) to establish a VLBI/SLR joint orbit determination method to compensate for the poor radial accuracy of VLBI and geometric distribution of ground stations. The data processing configuration is reconstructed to utilize whole observation data better and improve overall orbit determination accuracy, adding smoother to real-time and post-time estimation. Simulation results show both improved orbit determination accuracy and robustness to bad observational conditions.
