A Framework for Reusing Earth Science Data on Data and Model Marketplaces

The AI-based Management Strategy for Earth and Environmental Disaster project proposes a framework for integrating AI technology into Earth environmental disaster prediction models. The project emphasizes the collaboration of multidisciplinary experts, such as information engineering and network engineering, to explore the effectiveness of AI technology in enhancing Earth environmental disaster prediction models. The project particularly highlights the concepts of data reuse and model reuse, combining the data marketplace and model marketplace platforms of the NCHC to establish a national-level data service platform. Through the data marketplace platform, data reuse is achieved, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and fostering innovative applications and decision-making recommendations. Simultaneously, the model marketplace platform allows AI models from Earth science sub-projects to be launched, realizing model reuse and providing a strong reference for Taiwan's disaster response decision-making system, contributing to sustainable development.
