The induction motor's challenge with energy efficiency maximization at light load condition is the foremost motif of this paper. To increase the amount of time that an electric vehicle can run on a single charge, IM rotor flux optimization is very crucial. The goal of the problem is to minimize ohmic losses in field-oriented motor operating as a function of flux-producing current. In contemplation to increase the effectiveness of induction motor in electric drive applications, this work presents a novel vector control technique. Designing a loss reduction controller that can increase efficiency is desirable in this work. Vector control techniques are implemented for an induction motor drive that includes a loss factor. The most significant motor loss, are minimized by the proposed loss model-based strategy. The drive's performance in dynamic conditions is also thoroughly examined.
