Space Charge Ellipsometry Detection Method for the Multi-energy Conversion Equipment Insulation Evaluation

So as to meet the stricter requirement of the high frequency insulation for the multi-energy conversion equipment, research on insulation material evolution under complex transient stress becomes an important development direction in the area. Therefore, it is urgent to develop the space charge detection technology with spatial resolution of nanometer level and temporal resolution of microsecond level. In this paper, a space charge detection topological structure based on ellipsometry principle is proposed. By constructing the ellipsometry measurement platform and carrying out series of experiments, the measurement reliability of the proposed space charge system is preliminarily evaluated. According to the results, it is found that the proposed measurement method has the potential to achieve the tracking of the charge perturbation elastic wave with higher signal-to-noise ratio and broader system bandwidth, which could provide a technical methodology for the space charge measurement.
