Abstract
Offshore wind farm integrated by hybrid rectifier, which is composed by series-connected diode rectifier (DR) and MMC, to onshore grid is investigated in this paper. As the instinct conduction characteristics of DR, whole HVDC system shows different characteristics. In this paper, steady operation principle is analysed, and multi-target coordinate control strategy based on current droop for the hybrid HVDC system is proposed. Simulation results in PSCAD/EMTDC verify the effectiveness of proposed control strategy during steady operation and start up.
