A Design of Kickback Noise Suppression Comparator for High-Speed Wireless Communication

This paper proposes the design of a kickback noise suppression comparator for high-speed wireless communication. The technique used to suppress kickback noise from a latched-type dynamic comparator involves the use of switches to isolate the latch node from the input MOSFET. This technique is well-suited for high-speed wireless communication systems. The proposed comparator is implemented using the TSMC 180nm CMOS process and operates with a supply voltage of 1.8V. The results show that the proposed kickback noise suppression comparator exhibits a 75% reduction in comparison to conventional latched-type comparators.
