Enhancing Vaccination Strategy Effectiveness in Epidemic Networks: Exploring a New Centrality Measure and Community Detection Methods.

摘要
The prevention and control of infectious diseases heavily rely on vaccination as a crucial strategy. This study introduces an innovative vaccination approach that includes dynamic community detection in an epidemic network, as well as various centrality measures that are compared to a newly proposed centrality measure. Because these measures can identify Super-Spreaders within communities, we prioritize them for vaccination. Our ultimate goal is to create a network of highly immunized people capable of efficiently controlling disease spread. The effectiveness of our method is extensively evaluated utilizing a variety of evaluation metrics. Furthermore, our technique is remarkably scalable and adaptable, making it a promising solution for dealing with future epidemics with varying situations.
