摘要
Using geolocated data from different sources provides significant opportunities to enhance environmental surveillance policies, such as those enacted by the Brazilian Federal Public Ministry (MPF). MPF released GeoRadar - a geolocated platform that has helped perform several significant investigations. However, despite the potential of uncovering several irregularities, using geolocated data by investigators is still a challenging task, which demands the selection of appropriate layers in maps and visualising areas of interest. This paper presents ongoing work to design approaches to providing interaction with multiple sources of geolocated data using questions directed by investigation aims. The paper discusses the potential for using question-based interaction with geolocated data and the challenges involved with data integration and linking different sources of complex data. The paper shows initial examples of how to map questions in natural language onto reports with geolocated information to aid in environmental investigations and future developments in the area. The initial report draws from a co-creation workshop led by researchers with the participation of investigators, focusing on issues related to Human-Data Interaction.
