Abstract
A research on the new frequency modulated antipodal chaos shift keying (FM-ACSK) secure digital communication system is presented in this paper. It can be used for enhancing the physical communication layer security in wireless sensor networks (WSN). The system is designed in fixed-point digital format so it can be implemented in field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The proposed system’s performance is evaluated using Simulink mathematical model for a channel with additive white Gaussian noise. Study results are presented with bit error ratio (BER) graph for different signal-to-noise ratios (SNR) in the communication channel.
