Abstract
This work focuses on experimentally verifying the possibility of synchronizing analog and discrete chaotic systems with different initial conditions. The Pecora-Carroll technique is used to achieve analog-discrete and discrete-analog master-slave synchronization. The studies use the Vilnius chaos oscillator; however, the study can also be applied to other chaos oscillators. The work experimentally confirms the possibility of synchronizing the analog and discrete chaos oscillators using a simple Pecora-Carroll synchronization technique. The acquired results expand the applications of chaos oscillators in chaos-based data transmission systems, opening possibilities to develop the hybrid analog-digital type data transmission systems.
