Abstract
The Temperature Rise Test of liquid-immersed power transformers is a key element of the power transformers acceptance procedure. It defines the conformity to the temperature rise limits according to continuous rated power and requirements to a prescribed loading cycle. This report examines the impact of the measurement uncertainty, declared in the calibration certificates of the measurements tools involved in the test process, in the proper decision making at temperature rise test of power transformers.
