Beyond Lisfranc: Management of complex midfoot trauma, a case series

Lisfranc injuries occur on a spectrum from ligamentous injuries to severe open fracture dislocations. Management of these severe dislocations can be difficult and require staged management with external and internal fixation. A staged algorithm is used for management and recommended for treatment of these injuries In this series, seven cases of severe Lisfranc and midfoot trauma are presented with descriptions of the injury, management, and fixation.
