Emergency endovascular repair for endoleak with rupture after frozen elephant trunk for type A aortic dissection.
Journal of vascular surgery(2023)
Abstract
A 55-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with renewed chest pain. He underwent total arch replacement combined with frozen elephant trunk (MicroPort, Shanghai, China) for type A aortic dissection 7 years ago. Computed tomography angiography demonstrated a type II endoleak from the left subclavian artery, giant false lumen and severe pleural effusion, implying a ruptured false lumen (A,B).
