摘要
The Fires impact terrestrial ecosystems in different ways and not all are adapted to the same fire regime, even within the same biome, as in the case of the Brazilian Cerrado. The objective of the research is to evaluate the resilience of different Cerrado formations in the context of fire events through the multitemporal analysis of the NDVI vegetation index -Normalized Difference Vegetation Index -in Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park -GO. Data on scars from burned areas from INPE, spatial distribution of vegetation from MapBiomas and MODIS images were used to calculate the accumulated sum of scars from burned areas and NDVI accumulated by formation (grassland, savanna and forest). The results corroborate the scientific evidence of the behavior of Cerrado vegetation, demonstrating the different resilience of plant formations to the same persistent fire episodes.
