摘要
Venous thromboembolism (VTE), although not commonly associated with psoriasis, was prevalent in a cohort of > 2000 patients with psoriasis. We identified older age (> 70years), a history of malignancy and arterial hypertension as being significantly associated with the development of VTE. Dermatologists should be aware of this comorbidity and consideration of thromboprophylaxis in at-risk patients with psoriasis might be warranted.
