摘要

The background parenchymal enhancement related to hormonal impregnation exists in contrast-enhanced mammography as well as in breast MRI and may alter the sensitivity of tumour detection. However, it is less pronounced in MRI because of the difference in breast uptake of the contrast products between the two techniques and is an independent risk factor for breast cancer.(c) 2023 Elsevier Masson SAS.
