The transorificial and percutaneous approach: Developments in practice

The minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic approach by transorificial or transparietal route is dramatically progressing. This revolution contributes to reducing the space between medicine and surgery and increases the development of subspecialties with new training requirements. It places the operator in a situation of dependence on technology with the need to transform the operating sites. Although, the integration of these new operating methods is variable according to the current specialties, the development of these approaches will influence the territorial distribution of expert centers in order to facilitate equal access for the population to these centers, to modify the requirement for results and to obtain an exhaustive collection of these medical procedures.
