Facile fabrication of patterned polymeric films via phase separation-induced surface segregation

•Patterned films were prepared via phase separation-induced surface segregation.•This method can dynamically adjust the pattern of the film surface.•The switching of hydrophilic and hydrophobicity of the film surface was realized.•Preparation means and application potential of patterned film were enriched.
