Abstract
(Abstracted from Female Pelvic Med Reconstr Surg 2022;28:e55-e61) Urinary tract infections (UTIs) after pelvic reconstructive surgery (PRS) can result in high rates of readmission, morbidity, and mortality. The prevalence of UTI ranges from 10% to 76%, and postoperative urinary retention due to catheterization can occur in up to 43% in this population.
