Abstract
This paper presents a novel design of a high-efficiency rectifier operating at 28 GHz, leveraging second harmonic signal control. The rectifier architecture proposed in this study adopts a single-series circuit configuration. Specifically, the input matching circuit and the output circuit are designed to effectively reflect both the fundamental and second harmonic signals towards the diode. By carefully controlling the phases of these reflected signals, the applied voltage to the diode is maximized, resulting in efficient rectification. Simulation results, utilizing a commercially available diode model, demonstrate an impressive RF-DC conversion efficiency of 60.1% when subjected to an input power of 10dBm at 28 GHz.
