Direct Thrust Control of Aeroengines Based on Nonlinear Model Predictive Control

Aeroengines are complex, strongly nonlinear, multivariable, and time-varying objects. With the change of working state and flight conditions, the range of engine changes is large. Taking aeroengines as the research object, this paper studies the direct thrust control of aeroengines based on nonlinear model prediction method, so as to improve the engine performance under the thrust control system. The basic idea is to construct the input and output data set, based on the polynomial state space mathematical model structure, and use the method of system identification to construct a specific mathematical model, and use the nonlinear model predictive control method to design the optimization target for direct thrust. function and solve it to achieve the control objective of the direct thrust of the aeroengines. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed aeroengines direct thrust control strategy based on nonlinear model prediction can better control the direct thrust of aeroengines within the safety limit.
