Short note: effect of a heating on the electrical properties of lutetian limestones

Lutetian limestones of the Paris Basin have been largely used in monument building during medieval and modern periods. Electrical properties of rocks samples, extracted in quarries from the same layers as those used for ancient monuments, are measured in the [100 Hz -10 MHz] frequency range at ambient temperature and after heating at 600 degrees C and cooling back. The short link between electrical properties and mechanical ones allows to confirm that the stability observed for the first ones is true for the second ones and the interest of the electrostatic method for the assessment of the different facies of stones even after a fire.
