Finite Blocklength Coding Scheme for RIS-Aided MIMO Channel with Noisy Feedback

Recently, the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) aided communication system receives much attention. However, to the best of the authors' knowledge, the constructive finite blocklength (FBL) coding scheme for RIS aided channel remains open. In this paper, first, we propose a FBL coding scheme for the RIS aided MIMO channel (no direct link between the transceiver) with noisy feedback, which is based on an existing coding scheme for the point-to-point white Gaussian channel with noisy feedback. Then, numerical results show that the corresponding achievable rate approaches the Shannon limit when the blocklength is not long enough.
