摘要
This paper considers a quantum media-access-control (MAC) algorithm. We show for low light levels in a broadcast channel where quantum effects become significant, the classical ALOHA scheme can be modified to a Quantum ALOHA system with physics-induced diminished throughput due to quantum measurement errors. The quantum optimum throughput can be achieved using a modified Pseudo-Bayesian Rivest Algorithm. Simulations and analytic results agree well. This is one of the first instances of a quantum network algorithm at the Media-Access-Control (MAC) Layer.
