Parameter Calculation Method of Motor Simulation Model Based on Factory Data

Based on the factory data of induction motor (such as rated power, rated power factor, maximum torque multiple and rotor speed, etc.), a method for estimating the parameters of single cage model of motor suitable for electromechanical transient simulation of power system is proposed. The algorithm fully considers the physical mechanism characteristics of torque-slip of motor, and has good convergence characteristics and strong robustness. By calculating the single cage model parameters of 15 actual motors, their electromagnetic torque-slip characteristics are analyzed and compared with the factory data. The results show that the model parameters calculated according to the algorithm have high accuracy in simulating the electromechanical transient characteristics of motors, which proves the effectiveness of the algorithm. Finally, the validity and applicability of the proposed algorithm are further verified by comparing the dynamic physical simulation experiment with the numerical simulation.
