During a Low-Voltage Ride Through, it is typically beneficial to have a shorter activation time for the crowbar in order to provide reactive power to the grid sooner. In this study, we analyze the current when the crowbar is activated and deactivated. We then propose a method to determine the upper limit of resistance based on crowbar overcurrent. Simulation results are used to verify the relationship between crowbar resistance, turn-off delay, and the number of activations, supporting the feasibility of our proposed method.
