Analisis semiotik pidato presiden jokowi terkait “setelah ini jatah prabowo” sebagai calon presiden 2024

ABSTRACT Ahead of the 2024 political year, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jokowi, on several occasions made statements regarding the figure of the 2024 Presidential candidate. In his speech at the Perindo party's 2022 anniversary event, President Jokowi said that "Prabowo's ration after this" has been interpreted differently by the public. Not a few people interpreted the statement as a form of President Jokowi's support for Prabowo. This study aims to analyze the meaning behind Jokowi's statement “Prabowo's ration after this” To interpret Jokowi's statement, this research uses Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotics by looking at the elements of signifier and signified. The approach in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection method is done through documentation and literature study. The results showed that President Jokowi delivered his statement to create a more fluid atmosphere and a form of mutual praise among political elites, to create a more conducive atmosphere, especially entering the 2024 political year. ABSTRAK Menjelang tahun politik 2024, Presiden Republik Indonesia, Jokowi dalam beberapa kesempatan menyampaikan pernyataan terkait sosok calon Presiden 2024. Dalam pidatonya di acara ulang tahun partai Perindo 2022, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan “setelah ini jatah Prabowo” telah dimaknai berbeda oleh masyarakat. Tidak sedikit masyarakat menafsirkan bahwa pernyataan tersebut sebagai bentuk dukungan Presiden Jokowi terhadap Prabowo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna dibalik pernyataan Jokowi “setelah ini jatah Prabowo”. Untuk menafsirkan pernyataan Jokowi, penelitian ini menggunakan semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure dengan melihat unsur penanda dan petanda. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan pernyataannya untuk membuat suasana yang lebih cair dan bentuk saling puji diantara elit politik, sehingga tercipta suasana yang lebih kondusif terlebih memasuki tahun politik 2024.
