Development an intelligent method for restoring hippocampal activity after damage

摘要
The main goal of the study is to develop a new method based on artificial intelligence in order to restore activity of damaged hippocampal area. The hippocampus often has impaired functioning due to the neurodegeneration of its individual areas in neurodegenerative diseases, aging, or injuries. In this regard, the restoration of normal activity in the hippocampus based on modem methods of information processing is an important task. We report preliminary results on training a deep neural network with recordings of hippocampal local field potentials. These results showed the possibility of using described approach in the tasks of restoring population neuronal activity.
