Efficient nanocatalysis of Ni/Sc2O3@FLG for magnesium hydrolysis of hydrogen generation

摘要
•Hydrolysis performance of Mg is significantly improved by FLG-loaded ultra-fine, highly dispersed Ni/Sc2O3 nanocatalyst.•The Mg-4wt% Ni/Sc2O3@FLG sample releases 833 mL g–1 of H2 in 20 s at 30 °C with mHGR of 5942 mL g–1 min–1.•Mg is able to produce 690 mL g–1 of H2 in 30 s with minor catalyst addition of 0.2 wt%.•The mechanism of rapid hydrolysis of Mg catalyzed by Ni/Sc2O3@FLG composite is well elucidated.
