摘要

•Various TiO2 burr-like nanostructures were synthesized at room temperature.•Growth mechanism were studied.•TiO2 nanotubes were obtained by etching the inner ZnO firstly.•TiO2 nanorods were obtained by filling the nanotube with TiO2 later.•The size of TiO2 and the surface adsorbed oxygen increases as growth time increases.
