摘要

•Ag and InVO4 modified BiOBr to form Ag/BiOBr, InVO4/BiOBr, and Ag/InVO4/BiOBr (AIB).•Ag and InVO4 amounts, light powers, coexist ions and bacterial species were studied.•The AIB demonstrated excellent photocatalytic sterilization properties and stability.•Sterilization mechanism of AIB was investigated by scavengers, ESR and photocurrent.•The AB, AI, and AIB were applied in natural toilet environment and analysised by 16S.
