摘要
To provide connectivity coverage for a temporary event that occurred for a short period in a remote area, deploying a classical network architecture for communication coverage would not be the most efficient approach. For such a temporary event, one innovative technique in 5G networks that can be followed is to provide connectivity from a potable base station called by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This paper shows a performance comparison of using a classical network architecture with one or multiple fixed-located base stations and the approach of adopting a one-flying base station based on UAV for covering moving multiple user equipment (UEs) in a remote area. The results in this paper show that the proposed approach based on a one-flying base station outperforms the traditional approach based on multiple stationary base stations in terms of the received channel capacity.
