摘要
First-line treatment for acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) or chronic mesenteric ischemia (CMI) due to atherothrombotic mesenteric occlusive disease (AMOD) is endovascular treatment with superior mesenteric artery (SMA) stenting. Reoperations and complications of stenting remain common. In order to improve the technical success of SMA stenting, the objective of this study was to analyze the morphological characteristics of SMA lesions in patients with symptomatic AMOD.
