摘要

•Transient BOG precooling process for subsea LNG transport is discussed.•The temperature-dependent heat conductivity of insulation material is considered.•Pipe diameter in the range of 30” to 40” is reasonable for precooling process.•Thickness of the insulation layer is suggested between 30 and 60 mm.•Compared to the GF, RPUF shows better thermal performance.
