摘要
Satellite data is essential to environmental investigations, especially related to hydroclimatic issues. In the last years, many missions have been cooperating with these studies. This research aimed to estimate evapotranspiration in five major Brazilian basins (Amazon, Paraguay, Paraná, São Francisco and Tocantins). The methodology was based on data from the GRACE mission (2003–2016) and hydroclimatic variables such as the Noah Land Surface Model L4 model runoff and precipitation from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission. In addition, the results were compared to the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) model. In the Amazon, Tocantins, and Paraguay basins, the Pearson correlation was less than 0.3, while in the Paraná and São Francisco basins, the correlation was more than 0.5.
