Abstract
•PET-plastic waste membrane and their modifications have been successfully made.•The addition of Pebax and Zeolite-NaY can improve the performance in gas separation.•The highest percent increase in permeability occurred in CO2 and H2 gases.•The highest percent increase in selectivity occurred in CO2/CH4.•PET/ZY/PBX membrane has the most optimum performance in gas separation.
