Polypeptides inhibit HIV-1 replication by interfering viral Vpu-mediated tetherin degradation
Infectious Medicine(2023)
Abstract
•Three polypeptides that could efficiently inhibit HIV-1 replication were found.•The receptors that polypeptide bound should be tetherin expressed on cell surface.•The polypeptides may block Vpu mediated tetherin degradation.•Inhibitors targeting Vpu-tetherin interactions may be a target for anti-virus drug.
