Effectiveness of Thermal Ablation for Renal Cell Carcinoma after Prior Partial Nephrectomy

Repeat partial nephrectomy for renal tumors recurring in the ipsilateral kidney is associated with greater surgical complexity and a higher rate of perioperative complications. Percutaneous ablation is an effective treatment option for these patients. Our data reveal long-term oncologic control with low recurrence and complication rates.
