The effect of ear acupressure on sexual functioning among lactating women: A randomized sham controlled trial

•Ear acupressure was used as an intervention to increase women's sexual functioning.•Ear acupoints were genitalia, pelvis, master shoulder, and posterior hypophysis.•Ear acupressure showed a large effect on improvement of female sexual functioning.•Weekly frequency of sexual intercourse improved in the intervention group.•All changes were both statistically and clinically significant.
