摘要
Reading and interpreting psychological assessments, like individualized education programs (IEPs) and neuropsychology reports, is a specific skill set. Attendees will: 1) learn strategies to quickly read IEPs and neuropsychology reports to distill clinical relevance; 2) review tips on more in-depth interpretation and reconciling report information; 3) improve their understanding of the purpose and limits to neuropsychological assessments and reports; 4) review the structure and purpose of 504 Plans, IEPs, and accommodations for children and adolescents specific to mental health disorders; 5) obtain resources for patients and families specific to IEP communications, advocacy, procedures, and rights; and 6) receive best practice information on the importance of mental health secondary education and work transition to facilitate postschool success.
