Rationale for transcranial magnetic stimulation (tms) and cbd as novel interventions in anorexia nervosa

Research from our group on the neurobiology of anorexia nervosa indicated several main themes over the past decade. First, the motivational salience reward circuitry adapts to states of food restriction or overeating and reinforces eating disorder behaviors. Second, anxious traits drive eating disorder behaviors. This presentation will present a rationale for novel interventions that target those circuits.
