摘要
Inhibitory control (IC) is defined as the ability to modulate prepotent behavioral responses. Although research has linked IC deficits to increased risk for numerous psychological symptoms and disorders, existing tools for assessing this phenomenon are not highly accessible. Current canonical tasks are time-intensive, expensive, and restricted for use in laboratory settings. “CALM-IT” is a novel, gamified IC task that addresses these barriers by being delivered via a mobile application. Here, we examined the longitudinal stability of CALM-IT and its early associations with mood variability assessed through retrospective questionnaires and ecological momentary assessment (EMA).
