摘要
More than 7 million people, mainly women with children, fled Ukraine for Poland consequent to Russia’s February 2022 invasion. As a previously established organization (World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy [WAPP]) of mental health practitioners (MHPs), we created the World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy Support Project (WAPPSP) for colleagues touched by war conditions. Polish legislation registered WAPPSPA (an Association) as a nongovernmental organization operating in emergency support situations. This presentation aims to convey information about a mental health program, employing a very wide range of inputs, established for Ukrainian refugee children in a Polish city (Leszno). In addition, this presentation will highlight the work of uniting MHPs from different countries in order to support colleagues touched by war, via sharing and exchanging international experience and knowledge of intervention approaches and establishing programs focused on strengthening the resilience of children, families, and adults affected by war.
