摘要
In the current study, the influence of two set-retarding admixtures on properties of the slurry for the production of the CaO–Al 2 O 3 -based non-reactive slag was investigated to avoid rapid slurry setting and solidification during the transfer in the pipeline of production equipment. According to the actual production of the particle slag, the ball milling method was used to obtain slurry. The electrical conductivity, fluidity and viscosity of the slurry with different contents of citric acid and glycerin were compared to achieve the optimal retarder. Results showed that rotation speed and solid–liquid ratio had direct influence on the fluidity of slurry produced by ball milling. The comparison of the conductivity and fluidity of two retarders showed that citric acid could effectively delay the solidification of slurry, while glycerol could reduce the fluidity and increase the viscosity of slurry. Hence, the retarder of citric acid could be added into the slurry to produce the mold powder of CaO–Al 2 O 3 -based non-reactive slag.
