Continuous Wave Linear Electron Accelerators for Science and Applications

This is a brief review of continuous wave electron accelerators for science and applications, including superconducting accelerators. As well, the results of calculations are presented for an accelerating system of a new continuous wave electron accelerator (being developed at the Skobel’tsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University within the given project) with a beam energy of 1 MeV and a maximum beam power of 175 kW.
