DRESS syndrome in 2023

DRESS syndrome, an acronym for Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms, is one of the most serious allergic diseases. It is characterised by multivisceral failure associated with hypereosinophilia and even mononucleosis. Mortality is estimated to be between 1 and 10 percent depending on the studies and visceral damage (Kardaun et al., 2007; Kardaun et al., 2013).
